About broadcast technology

Broadcast television relies on advanced media and communications technology. HTV engineers and IT professionals are developing solutions in CTV, OTT and NextGen TV while supporting live broadcast environments. The fellowship offers a first step into this evolving field.

The opportunity

As a technology fellow, you’ll gain exposure to engineering, IT and the technical operations that power all aspects of television production. You’ll learn how these functions work together to support news production and station output, and you’ll contribute to real projects within a live broadcast environment. Many fellows transition into full-time engineering or technology roles at HTV after completing the program, depending on station needs and performance.
